The conference is organized by the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (UPB) and will take place in Central Library - University Politehnica of Bucharest, Splaiul Independentei 313, Bucharest 060042, Bucharest on Sep 2-3, 2019.
The ECBS integrates software, hardware, and communication perspective of system engineering through its many facets that include system modeling, requirements specification, simulation, architectures, safety, security, reliability, human-computer interaction, system integration, verification and validation, and project management.
The theme of ECBS 2019 will be Engineering for Interconnected World that stresses the importance of computer and software engineering to produce reliable and secure systems for new domains involving future technologies. Papers on theories, methodologies, and applications of new technologies and methods in system engineering, industry, and education are welcome.

The accepted papers will be submitted to ACM’s International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS) and will be available in the ACM Digital Library. The proceedings will be also submitted for the possible inclusion into ISI Web of Science-Clarivate Analytics.
After the Conference, contributed full papers selected by the Technical Program Committee will be recommended for publication in Revue Roumaine des Sciences Techniques – Electrotechnique et Energetique - ISSN: 0035-4066, Publisher: Romanian Academy (an ISI Thomson Reuters international rated journal) provided that 60 % of their content is new.
Proposed special session "Computer-based Algorithms and Systems for Efficiency and Optimization in RF Spectrum Detection and Estimation", organised by prof. Simona Halunga and prof. Octavian Fratu, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology. The ones who want to submit to the special session have to upload the paper on easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ecbs2019 and an email to the session's organisers: simona.halunga@upb.ro.
